Tarot Conway Tarot Conway was born in London but grew up in Leicester where he began learning the trumpet and piano and was encouraged to compose by David Fisher. He studied at the University of Huddersfield from 1993 to 1998 gaining an honours degree and masters in composition under the guidance of Christopher Fox. His style could be described as post-minimalist but in fact is a real blend of styles. Influences include Pop, Jazz and World music. Groups such as Ensemble Firebird, Capricorn and Kaleidoscope have recently performed his works in York, Leicester and Huddersfield.
