<P><FONT size=3><IMG height=424 alt="Peter Crump" hspace=10 src="http://www.composersalliance.com/images/pc_images/Peterc1b.jpg" width=286 align=left>Peter Crump was born in 1928.&nbsp; After taking an English degree at Oxford he studied composition at the R.A.M.&nbsp; He then taught in schools and privately, but continued to compose.&nbsp;&nbsp; Three pieces have been broadcast: the Third String Quartet played by the Amici Quartet, Two Diversions for flute and piano (Delia Ruhm and Mariegold Pickersgill) and Unum ex Illorum Sabbatorum for piano (Ian Lake).</FONT></P>
<P><FONT size=3>Peter lives in Leicester where he combines composition and piano teaching by the Suzuki method.</FONT></P>
